Church of the Resurrection - John Birkhead
The Church of the Resurrection is one of the largest United Methodist churches in the United States and the largest church in the Kansas City area. The church offers facilities for worship and many ministries for adults, children and youth. In April 2004, the church opened the doors to a 176,000-square-foot addition which provides state-of-the-art facilities with ample room for growth.

The youth center, Rez Life Student Center, opened January 2006, and features an exciting array of features designed to excite and encourage students. The facility houses an auditorium, first-class sound system, games and activities, a computer center, basketball courts, skateboard ramps and a climbing wall.
